The Commission Process

Follow the steps below to commission a custom pet portrait:

Step 1. Select Portrait Type

  • Glass Ornament

  • Acrylic Paint on Canvas, One Pet or Two

  • Can’t Decide? Gift Certificates are available

Step 2. Select Size and Background Type

  • Use the Drop-Down Menu to select size and background type

  • 11 x 14 size canvas or larger for two pets

  • Background types come in a black or traditional colored background

Step 3. Provide Reference Photo(s) and Description

  • After adding your selection to the cart, upload your pet’s photo(s) to the email address below. Multiple photos can be used.

  • Please provide a short description of your pet. Understanding special details about your pet can help me craft the painting to provide that familiar expression or emotion.

Step 4. Payment and Processing

  • All portraits on canvas require a $100 deposit. Once a deposit and your reference photo(s) are received, Paws Artistry will reach out to you to confirm the details of your painting.

  • Once your painting is complete a photo of the finished painting will be sent to you with a final invoice and your painting will be shipped. Please refer to the details under the item description for additional information.
